Heartcode courses are cerification classes in a blended-learning format geared toward healthcare workers or related fields. It is appropriate for both the first-time certification seeker and those needing to renew certification.
Part 1, the cognitive (learning) section, is completed online via a link to the material provided by the American Heart Association.
After completing part 1, the learner will come to the Simulation Center to complete parts 2 & 3, the practice and testing sections, with an instructor. The in-person portion may take up to 2 hours to complete, depending on the certifications desired.
